Hails from a family that has brought plenty of success to connections and looked a good prospect when seeing off Charlie Appleby's Into The Light (entered 4.45 Sandown Friday) to make a successful debut at Southwell. He holds an entry in the Dante and is open to significant improvement.

4,300,000 gns Wootton Bassett colt. Dam, 1m-1¼m winner, sister to Oaks winner Was. Showed more than first time up when second in Redcar novice (9f) last October and while it's unlikely he'll justify his price tag, he now tackles a trip more in keeping with his pedigree. Headgear on.

€13,000 yearling, Isfahan colt. Half-brother to several winners, including ungenuine German winner up to 2m Quian and 9.4f winner Laggata. Dam 1½m winner. In excellent hands but faces a tough ask against some useful prospects on racecourse bow.
